​Each year, the Chicago Department of Aviation is proud to celebrate sustainability accomplishments i​n the aviation industry by recognizing projects, programs, initiatives and individuals that exemplify sustainability leadership. 

The Airports Going Green Conference and Awards Program were established with the belief that industry sharing and recognition are key elements to advancing sustainability achievement and innovation. ​
